02 Feb The Best Apps for Your iPad and Tablet
When you get a new piece of technology, it can be overwhelming to try to figure out what the best apps are to download. To help you out, we’ve put together a list of our favorite and most-used apps for iPad and Tablets.
Apps for Music
If you have an iPad, Apple Music is a great app. The cost of a subscription is similar to a Spotify subscription, and it comes pre-downloaded on your device, so you don’t have to worry about finding it in the app store. It includes access to new artist releases as well as older music.
Spotify is another great app with the option for a free membership or a paid one. In addition to music, Spotify includes access to select audiobooks and podcasts, all within one app.
If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you have Amazon Music included in your membership. With this app, you have access to more than 70 million songs, including access to music from Amazon-exclusive artists, like Garth Brooks.
Apps for Entertainment
Just like with Amazon Music, your Amazon Prime membership gives you access to all of the content in Amazon Prime Video. When you download this app, you’ll have access to all of Amazon’s original series and movies, as well as tons of other content. You can even buy or rent thousands of titles.
Netflix, Hulu and Disney Plus are other great, subscription-based streaming services. They offer great original content as well as access to some of your favorite tv shows and movies.
One great thing about all of the above streaming services is that they all allow you to download content. You can watch downloaded content when you don’t have wifi or cellular service, so this comes in handy when you have a long plane ride or are traveling somewhere with limited cell phone coverage.
YouTube is a great app to have on your ipad or tablet if you like to keep up with your favorite vloggers, enjoy watching video tutorials, or need an app that can provide entertainment options for your children.
Apps for Wellness
If you need help relaxing or are looking to begin meditating, Calm is a great app to download! It is a mindfulness app that includes guided meditations, stories and stretching. It’s goal is to help its users experience better sleep, lower stress and reduced anxiety.
If losing weight or eating a more healthy diet is something you’re focusing on, MyFitnessPal is a must-download. This app helps you track your progress, provides healthy recipes and gives you a breakdown of the nutrients in foods you consume.
Nike Run Club and Nike Fitness Club are great for home workouts and plans. The apps include options for all fitness levels in any space and with whatever equipment you have available.
