Artful Agenda was designed and optimized for computer web browsers, and we encourage you to bookmark app.artfulagenda.com for easy access. While Artful Agenda is designed to work seamlessly and beautifully in most current browsers, Artful Agenda is especially wonderful in Google Chrome! We also offer downloadable apps for your computer. These have the functionality of our browser based app “wrapped” into a clickable icon. You can download our computer apps here.
Yes! We currently offer mobile apps designed for your phone and tablet in both the Apple App store and Google Play store.
For iOS: Touch and hold anywhere on your home screen until your app icons begin to shake, tap the + icon in the top left, scroll down to select Artful Agenda, swipe to choose a widget size, and tap Add Widget. If Artful Agenda isn’t showing up on your list of apps with widgets, try restarting your device and trying again.
For Android: Touch and hold anywhere on your home screen, select Widgets, scroll down to select Artful Agenda, choose which style you want agenda or monthly, tap Add, long press on the widget to move, resize, or create a stack.
Yes! Syncing to Apple involves two distinct steps. Most of our users who have trouble connecting to their Apple account have been successful once they ensure completion of both steps. We have created a video that walks you through STEP 2 in case you need a visual guide!
STEP 1: Ensure that two-factor authentication is on
On your iPhone or iPad:
On your Mac:
STEP 2: Login to Apple ID to generate app-specific password
IMPORTANT: When going to appleid.apple.com to create your App Specific Password, do NOT login with face or touch ID. Instead, select “use a different Apple ID” and manually enter your Apple ID and password.
Yes! If your Google calendar is already linked to Artful Agenda but not syncing, please go to Calendar Settings > Manage Calendars and hit Refresh Google Account Credentials.
Yes! If your Microsoft Outlook calendar is already linked to Artful Agenda but not syncing, please go to Calendar Settings > Manage Calendars and tap Refresh Microsoft Account Credentials.
If your Microsoft Outlook calendar is already linked to Artful Agenda but none of the calendars are being pulled into Artful Agenda, please go to Calendar Settings > Manage Calendars and hit “Enable Group Calendars”.
If your calendar happens to be a Microsoft Exchange account, we unfortunately don’t have the ability to sync with them. Exchange calendars block third-party apps like ours. The only way around this through legitimate channels is by having your IT department enable hybrid mode.
If you are trying to link a second Microsoft Outlook calendar account and your browser is preventing you from adding the new account, try opening an incognito browser window, logging into app.artfulagenda.com and going to Calendar Settings > Manage Calendars > Connect with Microsoft and following the prompts.
Because Artful Agenda integrates with Google Calendar, iCal, and Outlook, there are some things best handled in those programs directly. Luckily we’ve made this process super easy!
For Google: Go to the top Artful Agenda menu bar, click the Calendar icon, and then select Manage Calendars. Here you’ll see all the calendars associated with your accounts. At the bottom of your list of Google calendars, there’s a link labeled Create Calendar. Go here to create a new calendar.
For Apple: You will need to visit https://www.icloud.com/#calendar. Just click on the gear icon to create a new one!
For Outlook: Go to the top Artful Agenda menu bar, click the Calendar icon, and then select Manage Calendars. Here you’ll see all the calendars associated with your accounts. At the bottom of your list of Outlook calendars, there’s a link labeled Manage Calendars and Sharing. Go here to create a new calendar.
Once you’re done creating your new calendar (in either Google, iCal, or Outlook), come back to Artful Agenda, click the Calendar icon in the menu bar again, but this time click Sync Calendars. Voila! Your new calendar should now appear in your calendars list.
Calendar sharing will need to be done within Google Calendar, iCal, or Outlook.
Go to the top Artful Agenda menu bar, click the Calendar icon, and then select Manage Calendars. Here you’ll see all the calendars associated with your accounts. At the bottom of each list of calendars, there’s a link labeled Manage Calendars & Sharing.
Get your sharing settings exactly how you want them and return to Artful Agenda when you’re done!
Switching back and forth between time zones or using different time zones for different calendars can get pretty messy. To keep things simple, we let Google and iCloud handle those kinds of details.
For a quick link to edit your Google, iCloud, or Outlook calendar settings, go to the top Artful Agenda menu bar, click the Calendar icon, and then select Manage Calendars. Here you’ll see all the calendars associated with your accounts. At the bottom of each list of calendars, there’s a link labeled Manage Calendars & Sharing. Simply click that link and make your changes in the Time Zone section.
When you’re done, just click the Calendar icon in your Artful Agenda menu bar again, click Sync Calendars, and you’re all set.
Yes! There are two ways to use them:
1. Navigate to the “manage calendars” screen and click on the individual calendar name to set up default reminders (alarms) for that calendar.
2. Use the event modal to set unique reminders (alarms) for a specific event.
This video explains how to color code by calendar category in Artful Agenda. You can select a color from the Quick Select Color Palette or enter a custom hex code to get any color you’d like.
Artful Agenda is excited to offer a wide variety of sticker packs! To use them, follow these simple instructions:
On Computer:
On Mobile:
If your iPad is compatible with the iOS feature Scribble, you can use your Apple Pencil to do handwriting-to-text in any text field. Just tap into any text field and you can write to convert to text, scribble to delete, cross through to select, and draw a vertical line to join or separate letters.
You can also draw or write on your iPad or Android tablet. Tap the three line menu button in the bottom right, then select Start Drawing. Draw or write on any ‘paper’ area of the planner, tap the checkmark to save, double tap a drawing to erase, move, or delete it.
The draw/write feature now requires an upgrade to Artful Plus if you subscribed after December 17, 2023. This feature is grandfathered in to the our standard Artful subscription for all who subscribed prior to that date.
Double tap a drawing to erase, move, or delete it.
A native print feature is on our roadmap for future development! In the meantime, many of our users are able to successfully use their computer’s snipping tool to get a screen capture and print directly from that.

Note: Artful Plus is only currently available as an annual subscription.
I am subscribed through the Apple App Store:
Apple will cancel your current Artful Agenda subscription and issue you a prorated refund based on how much time was left on your subscription. This will trigger a brand new Artful Plus subscription and you will be charged the annual price of $49.99 USD right away.
I am subscribed through the Google Play Store:
Google will charge you a prorated amount based on the difference between your current subscription price and the annual subscription price of Artful Plus and how much time is left on your subscription. The Google Play subscription change screen might make it seem like you will pay for a full year of Artful Plus, but please tap “Continue” until you see a price breakdown. The final screen will show you the prorated amount you will be charged today. Then at the end of your current subscription plan, your subscription will automatically renew at the annual price of $49.99 USD.

Note: If you are currently on a legacy monthly subscription, you will see a small prorated credit for the unused portion of your current month. It will be subtracted from the total of the new Artful Plus annual subscription. That reconciled charge will happen immediately upon upgrading.
