Custom Display Settings: Tailor Your Calendar Views

One of the most highly requested features from our users has been more customization options for calendar views. We’re excited to introduce Custom Display Settings, a powerful update that gives you even more control over how your calendar is organized and displayed, making it easier than ever to stay on top of your busy schedule.

This update includes two key components:
1. Customizable Calendar Views: With Custom Display Settings, you can now tailor which calendar categories appear in each view. Whether it’s your work calendar, personal appointments, or time blocking, you have the flexibility to choose which categories show up in your daily, weekly, or monthly views. This means you can declutter your calendar, focusing only on what’s important at any given moment, and reducing visual overload.

How to use—In your Artful Agenda go to Calendar Settings > Manage Calendars > select an active calendar category > toggle the checkmarks on or off for each of the three views to suit your needs > select the back arrow to return to your calendar

2. Customizable Event Views: In addition to customizing calendar category views, you can also control the visibility of individual events. This feature includes the ability to hide events from subscribed and read-only calendars. Whether you need to hide a meeting reminder that’s already been addressed or filter out less critical events to streamline your day, this feature gives you complete control over what you see in your planner.

How to use—Open an event modal and enter your event details > select CHANGE DISPLAY > toggle the checkmarks on or off for each of the three views to suit your needs > select SAVE

These new options mean your calendar can be as detailed or as minimalistic as you prefer, helping you focus on what matters most without unnecessary clutter.

Seamlessly Add Google Meet Links

We know how important virtual meetings have become, and we’re excited to introduce a new feature that simplifies the process of scheduling and joining Google Meet calls. Previously, users had to create events in their Google Calendar to automatically include a Google Meet link. With our latest update, you can now add a Google Meet link directly in the description box when creating an event in Artful Agenda.

This seamless integration ensures that you can handle all aspects of your event planning within Artful Agenda, saving you time and keeping everything in one place. No more switching between apps to ensure your virtual meetings are set up correctly – it’s all right here at your fingertips.

How to use—Open an event modal and enter your event details > select the Add Google Meet option > select the ADD GUEST feature to invite others to your meeting > select SAVE [Note: It may take a few minutes for the Google Meet information to pull through from Google Calendar to your Artful Agenda and populate the Description box]
